Hair Loss in Adults
Hair loss, a common presentation in family practice, can be a distressing condition that may impair a patient’s quality of life. It can be either temporary or permanent and may infrequently signal an underlying medical condition. A thorough history and physical exam are often sufficient for reaching a diagnosis, recommending treatment and providing counselling.
